The Mug Behind the Mugs

I’m Brandi: lover of all animals, tacos, freeze pops, tattoos + boys with beards. I also love saltwater + sunshine + my super cute Hello Kitty beach cruiser, and I’ll never not live near sand + the sea ⚓️.

I’m a doodler. Always have been. I love drawing, designing, creating, coloring, painting... I’m basically a 43-year-old preschooler. I also love old stuff, trash-to-treasure projects are my fave, and if I can make it, I will, cause those challenges are way more fun!

It still blows my mind that people love my silly little projects, and I giggle every time someone asks for directions to my store!  Love Letters is just me, usually in jammies, making stuff in my teeny little cottage near Ocean City, MD.

When I started, I focused mostly on chalkboard signs. Then I hand-painted mugs. And when people actually started placing orders, my late grandfather asked to “invest” in Love Letters, launching it from a hobby to a business. I hope to someday make him super proud by getting that storefront people keep asking about...
