"In Dave We Trust" shirt / Dave King / Flogging Molly tee

This might be my most meaningful design ever.

If you follow Flogging Molly, you know that, not long ago, front man Dave King took a pretty nasty fall, so he + his lovely wife, Bridget, were not able to make the 2025 Salty Dog Cruise. The cruise went on, but as a result of the major lineup change, passengers were offered a full reimbursement.

Which I accepted.

I wish I didn't have to. I'd been paying for that cruise for well over a year, and was really looking forward to it. But I obviously didn't know then, when I bought my cabin, that I'd be in the situation I was in early 2025 — still clearing the last few remnants from the beloved little storefront I had just closed and trying to navigate my new journey with little income, a house full of rescue critters + bill collectors with didn't much care.

My response — create. I went into my little workshop + I got creative. I designed something for shipmates who did make the cruise + it was a hit!

Just kidding! I'm already over here dancing to Flogging Molly anyway! 

BTW: Dave King has recovered + continues to get stronger every day. He's playing music again and, from what I've read, will be performing in the near future! Maybe one day he'll see a whole sea of "In Dave We Trust" shirts in his pit…
